Vocabulary

to diminish/dwindle/die away/fade away

Hello,
Can we say: "Her enthusiasm soon diminished/dwindled/died away/ faded away"? They do have different meanings, but I am not sure if all them sound perfectly natural. They do to me, but I don't think I'd use "fade away" even though I've heard people use it in such contexts. Love was used instead of enthusiasm.

Thank you. Emotion: smile

Thank you. "Crumble" is a verb a forgot to mention. Would it sound natural to you? I don't use it often and it's meaning would be rather figurative, but why not?
