A. exclusive math, turn out
B. excluding math, turn out
C. exclusive of math, have turned out (Answer Key)
D. excluding for math, have turned out

Hello,
Some native English speakers have told me that B can also work and some others have told me that C can not work here.
One told me: "I think B is being considered wrong because "to date" wants present perfect, not present (it's "to date" meaning "so far, up until today" so it refers to the past with reference to the present)."

And one other told me: "in my opinion, both (B) and (C) are grammatically correct"

What's your opinion? Does B work in your opinion?

" I agree that this is the reason that the test makers consider B wrong. But keep in mind that on tests like this you should always choose the best answer, not just the correct answer, because more than one answer can be correct.
