Hi,

I just wondering whether it is better to use 'to date' instead of 'until now' in "He hasn't got any chocolates on Valentine's to date".

#1 implies that he's never been given chocolates on V's Day.

#2 implies that he's just received chocolates on V's Day for the first time.
