To correct bank's error on EFT transaction

I received an e-mail from the our vendor in Singapore regarding past due payment. However, after researched on paid vouchers which payment has been made to the this vendor on 08 Nov., 04 through our main bank in Us. When I made inquiry to the our main bank,the bank aknowledged that they were mix-up the that day transaction. So, I am asking to the bank to correct their error and they are the liable for the interest(finance) charge, if vendor demands, to the vendor for late payment.
