To call to?

Hi,

at work I often heard my collegue saying "I called TO you" meaning that he phoned someone.

Well, I have never heard the "to" after the verb to call. Can you confirm ?

Here are the forms of using call properly:

call sb

call sb sth

call sb names

call sb by sth

call sb over
