To call it finders keepers

You all know the saying 'finders keepers' (losers weepers) right?

So I'm wondering if just like you can say 'I call it a day', or 'I call it quits', you can say 'I call it finders keepers or or otherwise 'I'm calling finders keepers'. I mean, I'm pretty sure nobody ever said it (according to Google at least), but the question is could I, or would it sound really weird?

I'm not a native English speaker, but it's for a song and I don't want to mess up the chorus Emotion: wink Curious to the response!

Thanks,
Ananka

It does sound odd, but since you're writing a song, you have some poetic license.
