To both.... or both to...

Hello everyone,

Which sentence sounds better to you?

- The company offers its wide range of products to both wholesalers and retailers.

- The company offers its wide range of products both to wholesalers and retailers.


The first one sounds better to me and that's what I'd choose (if I had to), but I think I might be wrong.

You're right. The first one is correct. The second one is wrong. (If "both" goes first then you need another "to", i.e. "both to wholesalers and to retailers", though it seems easier to say "to both ...".)
