To begin with/ to start with ---- stick to/with

Q) Is it OK to say 'to start with' instead of 'to begin with' when starting to say something?

Q2)

1. stick with (stick to?) [the preposition depends on situations?)

2. depend on

3. rely on

4. rest on.

He depends on it

I suppose the four are kind of interchangable when we don't think about what IT is. Is it correct?

Hi,

1. Yes, it is fine to use them interchangeably if you're using them correctly.

2. It depends on the context. I wouldn't say that they can be used interchangeably under

any circumstance. Some might sound good whereas others might sound odd.

You have to supply full context, so that we can grasp the intended meaning of yours better.
