To beg patience?

Dear all,

please, is it possible to say :

"I´m begging your patience"?

My colleague usually writes this sentence when he ask customer to wait for a price"

Well, I understand it, but it is certainly not businesslike. If the price is not available (and why isn't it??), then the supplier should write something like this:

'Unfortunately, I do not have the price immediately available because our new catalogue is just being printed this week (an explanation is necessary for any failing), but I will get it to you as soon as p

Anyway..is it possible to day "I beg your patience" ? Is it used in common language?

My attempt: "I kindly ask you to wait until.." Could it work?
