Dear everyone,

Can someone please tell me the meaning of "... are those that ..." in below sentence.
I have already met this phrase many times, but I really don't understand.
Hope you can help me. Thank you!

'Those' is a pronoun that stands for whatever plural noun has been previously mentioned.
'That' is a pronoun that stands for whatever singular noun has been previously mentioned.

If you do a Google or corpus search for 'those of' and 'that of', you will find many examples.
