To be surprised.......?

Dear teachers and native english speakers,

I am a bit confused about what should follow "to be surprised" please check:

"I am very surprised ....... your answer"

Should I say: "by" ? "about" or something different?

Thank you.

p.s
the problem can be avoid by saying " your answer surprised me very much" but I wish to know what is correct anyway :-)
