To be off to leave

Hi,

I have heard the expression: "I am off leaving the office" does it mean "I am going to leave the office" ?

I have checked the dictionary but this small word is crazy, it means so many things!!!!! Emotion: sweating

Does "I am off" means that "I am going to leave the office " or that "I am not in the office"?

This is not clear to me
