To be in the limelight

Hi all

I am wondering which one of the following sentences is correct:

1: To be in the limelight means to be the center of attention.

2: To be in the limelight means to be at the center of attention.

I prefer the last one, but I am not sure whether this is grammatically correct or not?

Hope you can help - thanks!
