To be focused (verb or adjective)

Hi

I know that one says « Focus on... »

but can someone be focused?

I am focused and ready to do this.

Is this natural and is it a verb or adjective?

Is it just a matter of active and passive use of the verb?

Thanks

Ps : Is this correct to say« passive use of the verb »
