To be contrasted with

"According to the first line of argumentation, “moral values are not real because there is so much dispute about them and no clear way of resolving it”. Also, in moral inquiry, in contrast with other domains, there seem to be no acknowledged experts, no progress and no accumulation of knowledge. A. points out that the empirical sciences are in this case the preferred model with which morality is contrasted, since the “norms of objectivity which morality is deemed to fail are bound to be found, if at all, in the natural sciences”."

Is the expression in bold ok? Also, should I say "in contrast with other domains of inquiry" or "in contrast with other fiels (of inquiry)"?

Thanks,

CliveIn terms of meaning, is it better to say 'is contrasted ' or 'should be contrasted'?

Well, I think I must use 'is' because it is something that happens. A. is describing sth that is the case.
