'To be ' Confusion

Hi to all. I would appreciate if some body explain the use of 'To be'. I have confusion with 'be'. So, what exactly meaning of 'be' and how to use in sentences.
My confusion like

Can 'be',
Could 'be',

'To be'

How to use 'be' or 'to be' in sentences. Thanks.

I am not clear yet. I want to know the purpose of the 'be'. and 'to be'. Is 'be' indication of future tense or not?
