To be bitten idiom

Hi

I don't know what bit me today, but I feel so annoyed.

I'm not sure, but does such an idiom exist?

Thanks!

I do not think the idiom is commonly used about oneself. Normally, it is about "you" or "others." Also, it would be a continuous problem (biting) vs a single event (bit).

What's biting you? (What is bothering you, why are you acting so badly?)

I don't know what was biting him, but he was being a real brat.
