To be available

Hi,

can I use "to be available" for persons? I mean that I usually say that something (things) are not available (on stock) but can I say : "Will you be available during Christmas Holidays"?

Thanks!

Hi,

thanks but it does not work in my situation. I cannot ask something this way my customer. I think "to be available"is the best option.

Anyway thanks :-)

It's a perfectly good expression, but it doesn't have the same meaning. Being in touch during the holidays implies checking in from time to time. Being available doesn't require anything like that.

Thank you CJ for your time and concern.
