Grammar

To be after

hi everyone,

Is it correct to say: 'the murder is after me'?
I'm trying to say that the murder is looking for me and when he find me, he is going to kill me.
I'm not trying to say that the murder is following me.

Thanks in advance

"after me" is correct, but "murder" should read "murderer". But listen, Belinda - this is one circumstance where correct grammar is the last thing you should be worrying about in your situation. Just call the police and go into hiding for a while!

Hi Belinda, your reply should read:

You've (rather that you'd) just saved my life.

I don't mean to be cheeky correcting you like that!
