"To be a bank"

Hi,

once again I need to know if you understand the sense of this sentence:

"I´m sorry but we can not give you a better price, we are not a bank!!!"

If you were the customer, would you understand the meaning or not?

Thanks!!

I'm sorry, but we cannot give you a better price. We are not a bank!

The meaning is clear.

(I would leave out the second part about the bank.)

Hi Pamela,

Sorry to see you still have a few customers left to bother you. Not for long!
