To and for

Help me with these sentences please:

This money is for buying a house- ?

This project is to hand in- ×

I guess the second one is wrong and it should be "for handing in", I mean, I'm guessing, if it has another meaning let me know please

I am good for being a host party- ?

I am good to be a host party- ?

I want to answer the question "what is it for?" But I've seen and heard these sentences:

It is late for planning

It is late to plan

So I am not really sure about the meanings of the first four sentences
