Hello,The {to act for thesmselves and not to be acted upon} quoted form The Book of Mormon 2 Nephi 2: 26. I try to make my interpretation on it-----They should act in regard to themselves and no low should force to be acted upon them.Could any native speaker tell me correct or not? 2 Nephi 2;26And the Messiah cometh in the fulness of time, that he may redeem the children of men from the fall. And because that they are redeemed from the fall they have become free forever, knowing good from evil; to act for themselves and not to be acted upon, save it be by the punishment of the law at the great and last day, according to the commandments which God hath given. Thank you for your help.

Except for the fact that I don't understand exactly what you mean by "no low", I think your interpretation is probably correct.

Thank you for your suggestion.Whould you be kind enough to let me give it an explanation?Oh, that is a slip to cause you confused, sorry. "no law" in my mind is that all the scriptures and His commands never force them upon us but ask live in the spirit according to the will of ***.That is all for "no law".
