Titles after Names

Is it okay to cap occupational titles, formal titles, or professional titles after a person's name?

For example:
1) Mike Smith, Albany Police Detective, will resign on Friday.
2) Amy Quackenbush, Cashier, stole the money.
3) Lou Sparrow, Drama Critic, received the award.
4) Dave Evans, Attorney General, signed the bill.
5) Barack Obama, President of the United States, flew to Minnesota.
6) Frank Bulga, Janitor, addressed the issue.

Thanks.
