How to greet Governor of my state - India.

Your highness, Your excellency, Sir - which is appropriate?

Personally, as an adherent to the principals of a Republic, I would say "good morning, sir ". There may, however, be some special protocol involved here. Just to be certain, I would telephone his office and ask one of his aids for the correct way to address the Governor in public.
