The editing is very cool. But I am confused by "and make distribute teh stress", because "distribute" is a verb, so should we have to put "to" before it? Plus, though I am unfamilar with some terminologies, but 10 professional dictionaries (English - Chinese or C - E) indicate "stress distribution" is a compound noun in natural sciences. So combining your editing, I'd try:

Sorry, I missed my own error in deleting, Jobb. It should be 'and distribute the stress'. No 'make'. I don't think there's any need to go to a nominal form, though. 'and distribute the stress proportionately among the molecules' should be more clear.
