tip

I floored the gas pedal and my body tipped back.

Is tipped back used correctly?
Thanks.

I don't know what kind of vehicle you're accelerating, but in most cases people drive with shoulder belts in place and head rests very close behind their heads. You may feel the G-forces pressing you into the seat, but if you tip back your seat will have to go with you. Better make sure the bolts are in place.
