Vocabulary

tint, mirror

Hello everybody,

I just read a lens description for my glasses and I came across this sentence:

"Tint is GREY and mirror is solid blue."

I do not really get this part. Would someone be kind enough to explain it? Thanks.

Hi, When you are wearing the glasses and looking through them, you see a grey tint. The person you are talking to sees only a blue mirror, and can't see your eyes. Clive

Just remember that tint is like color and mirror is like reflection.
