Could you please help me? How do we say 'x' when giving the measurements of a thing, for example:
20x30 (do we say 'times'? 20 times 30?)
(I mean giving the width, height and length of a thing)

No. Say 'by'.

eg The land measures 100 metres by 300 metres..
eg The box is 1 metre wide by 2 metres high by 5 metres long.
