Time to work out or time for working out?

Hi,

I am not sure if they have different meanings or one is correct and the other is wrong?

When I want to work out, should I say," it is time to work out?" or say,"it is time for working out"?

Do they show different meanings?

thanks

Hi,

is it correct to say," it is time for a run/an exercise?" or it is better to say," it is time to run/exersie?"

And is it correct to say ," it is time for dinner?' or is it itme to dine?

It is time for a run / some exercise-- OK

It is time to run/exercise-- OK

It is time for dinner-- OK

It is time to dine-- No good in this century. Use 'It is time to eat.'
