I try to understand what 'time something out' means. Can you please check my sentence and tell me, if it's correct? My computer was supposed to time that program out 15 minutes after I left - As I understand, it's supposed to mean: My computer was supposed to automatically turn that program off 15 minutes after I left. Am I right?
