time sequence

1. When we arrived, Jan made some fresh coffee.

2. Jan made some fresh coffee when we arrived.

#1 implies that the arrival came before the coffee-making.

What about #2?

Does it also imply that the arrival came before the coffee-making?

Hi,

In both cases, the subject of the main clause is 'Jan'.
