Grammar

time position

1. Mary and her friends will fly in at 9 pm.

2. Mary will fly in at 9 pm together with her friends.

I remember reading a grammar book that says time is usually positioned at the end of a sentence. Does that mean the first sentence is prefered over the second?

Thanks!
