Time enough--noun + adj

We still have time, time enough to...

Is the expression 'time enough' archaic?

Is it only used after repeating a noun earlier in the sentence?

Why wouldn't you just say '..have enough time to'?

I assume it is just inverted from the more common order 'enough time'

Thank you

Thank you. It's just good to know this when, or if, I come accross it in writing, or speech. I don't think I'll find myself using it, though. Sounds stuffy in a way, to me anyway.

Hi,

I just see 'time enough' as a tiny bit literary.
