(o) Oh that time… could gently ease its hectic pace
The Earth the heavens slower trace, content a lesser space
Traverse the sun in never ending grace, a calmer race.

Might I from this steal, for life a better deal?
From every moment take, a jewel not to forsake
Would time in newness be, though slow the same for me?
Would I reject its gift, not through its treasures sift
Condemned still though to waste its flow
Know not yet what to do and where to go
A curse of mind - its precious gift not sow? (g)
