Time and its position in a sentance

0 I am actually learning German and in so doing realise that I need to understand my own language better.02br
00In German there is a specific position for time information such as, 'in the morning', 'every day', 'sometimes', 'at 2 O'clock' etc.02br
00I am aware of what sounds correct but do not know why. It seems that it can go at the beginning or end of a sentance but not in the middle (or after the verb) as in 'I eat every day my breakfast', which is a perfectly acceptable order in German. 02br
02br
00Can anyone please help with my question, which is: Are there any rules for where to place this information within a sentance? 0-

It would take me far too long to give you a detailed comprehensive account here, so I'll forward you to a site I Googled. It doesn't seem to be good at all because most of what should have been said is missing, but it'll give you an idea of what this is all about.

0 Hi Cool Breeze02br
00Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I had spent time googling for this information but didn't even know how to phrase my question correctly. The link you gave me is great. I now understand that I am actually querying the 'when' clause and adverbs of frequency and now understand the difference between these two.02br
