Time adverbs in front position

Hello. Is it correct to place a comma after time adverbs in front position, as in:
"Then, I read chronologically some key texts in the history of philosophy as well as one overview of ancient philosophy."
"Currently, I am reading a more advanced survey of the subject." or
"Later, I acquainted myself with British history and the history of British literature."

Thank you very much.
