Time

Their time of punishment has fulfilled.
I assume that the period that they had been punished has fulfilled.
Then if I say " The time of their punishment has fulfilled.", does it mean that the period that they punished other has fulfilled?
Can I say " Their time of being punished has fulfilled." to mean the same as 'their time of punishment'.

Can i say " time of love by parents. My time of love by parents"? to mean that the period when I was love by parents.

Thanks *

eunjinnyTime of their punishment has been fulfilled.
What does it mean?

This doesn't really make any sense. Are you sure you quoted it correctly?

The only guess I can make is that you are trying to say "They have paid their debt to society." or "They have served their time."

I was practicing to say that 'they' are the subject of punishing others.
If i want to say the time they punished (someone) has been fulfilled, how should i say it?

Hi eunjinny,

That's not very natural.

You seem to be struggling a lot with "of" phrases.

The time for them to punish [who?] had arrived.

My time of going to school by walking all these miles is finished.

(now i moved to the house close to the school)

Is this right way to say?

I find in a dictionar time is written a period of time when you do something or somehting happens,
