Till or Until

Hi,

it is really important for me to ascertain if the following is correct: "Till it beats no more".

About the context: by "it" I mean the human heart, and by the phrase I mean to put "Never give up" in a different way. I would like to have it tattood on my chest, where my heart is. That's the genesis basically.

Can anyone confirm the grammatical correctness of the above, please? Also, if there is anything that might be worth mentioning, feel free to share it.

Thank you,

Máté from Hungary

Hi, If I saw 'Till it beats no more' on your chest, I'd think it was some kind of declaration of love to your loved one, meaning 'I will love you until I die'. [L] Clive

Hi,

If I saw 'Till it beats no more' on your chest, I'd think it was some kind of declaration of love to your loved one, meaning 'I will love you until I die'. That's because the heart has such a strong connection to the idea of love.[L]

Dear Clive,

first off, let me thank you for the - timely - answer.

Second, imho one has got to keep on fighting for things in life, love included. So I intend to mean love as well when i say never give up. Never give up on anything you've started.

I assume, moreover, that there is no grammatical errors in the phrase. Correct?

Correct.

I hope you have thought about all this carefully.
