Can we make it easier by writing like this?

''My friends will wait till i come of age.''

I think the word only isn't necessary,if we want to write it,we may write:

''My friends will only wait till i come of age.''

My friends will only wait till I come of age. = They will do nothing else but wait.

My friends will wait only till I come of age. = They will wait just that long.
