Thus, therefore and so

Hello,

I was wondering if you could help me to write some sentences for my homework.

I'm writing some Fable stories (yay!).

This is my sentence:

1. As soon as the Demiurge realized his mistake, He and his court of angels decided to lead a peaceful life, and thus the realms of matter and time ceased to exist.

2. As soon as the Demiurge realized his mistake, He and his court of angels decided to lead a peaceful life, therefore, the realms of matter and time ceased to exist.

3. As soon as the Demiurge realized his mistake, He and his court of angels decided to lead a peaceful life, and so, the realms of matter and time ceased to exist.

Which of them would be appropriate?

Thank you in advance.
