Thrusting

As we all know, thrust means push (sth/sb) suddenly and violently in a particular direction.

Can I use it in a figurative way? for example:

a thrusting young salesman. (energetic, aggresive)

Although it is not in any dictionaries, I still can use it right?

This sounds OK to me. It is a use of "thrusting" that I am familiar with.
