Hello and thanks for your help;
I need to know which is more correct:
is it THROW an object from a plane
or LAUNCH an object from a plane?
I'm American and so I think the correct word is THROW
Perhaps in english UK it's LAUNCH?
Thanks !!
I am a British English speaker, and I'm not aware that there is any difference between AmE and BrE in this regard. If you eject something from a plane, by hand, to fall under the influence of gravity, then "throw" is the correct word. "launch" is also possible, but has additional connotations, for example that the "launched" object will fly or glide after release.
