Throw into disarray

Hi,

Sometimes when I open a PowerPoint presentation on a different computer than mine, the font changes and some graphs are missing important data.

Can I say that: "The computer threw my presentation into disarray." or is there a better way to describe such a situation?

Thank you.

Figuratively, you could say that. We usually say that the document or whatever reformatted through transmission. When I opened my document on your laptop, it was reformatted.
