Throughout the day at the hot office, she looked forward to...

Hi

Could you please tell me if this sentence is natural? Any suggestions are welcome.

Throughout the day at the hot office, she looked forward to returning to her air-conditioned comfort.

Can it be air-conditioned comforts?

Thanks,

Tom

To me, "comfort" seems better. "comfort" refers to the general comfort of being air-conditioned, while "comforts" tends to sound as if she's referring to individual comforts that she can enjoy in an air-conditioned environment, which probably isn't what's meant.
