through whatever of their actions/movements

I know my friends from the feel of their faces. But I cannot really picture their personalities through the thoughts they express to me, through whatever of their actions are revealed to me.

Is "actions" in the above equivalent to "movements?" Thanks.

These two words in questions and the "act" as well as "deed" you mentioned are not different in our language and therefore extremely confusing.

To make sure, you mean "actions" is more than "movements," right? But I'm still confuse
