Vocabulary

Through / push on

Hi teachers,

Excerpts from Newsweek

We've just got to find a creative away through this issue of the settlement moratorium, and then push on.

1. Is "away" a typo when the editor mean to say "way"?

2. What is "through" mean?

3. What is "push on" mean?

Thank you.

Hi Dave Phillips,

1. Does the whole sentence mean "find a creative way to solve the issue"?

2. Is it almost same as "see it through"?

Thank you so much.

1. No, it means find a solution and then progress it doesn't mention being creative.

2.. Yes, to some degree.

find a creative way through this issue-- This to me means 'find a creative way to resolve the issue', so the creativity is in the method.
