through.....

he looks through the binoculars at the shining stars.

through is no doubt the best answer, but what about "with".
if not, is there any context where "with" is applicable. thanks all

You cannot use with binocular it is wrong . If one more person is present there then you could say "he looks through the binoculars at the shining stars with his friend."
