Through

Hello,

Can we write: All through the week, he had played video games. (does 'all through the week' mean throughout the week? is it okay here?)

2) Even so, when he attacked, she defended herself. (is this fine?)

3) Which order is right - he might never have been a thief or he might have never been a thief.

Thanks,

Top answer

#1 Yes, it is okay here. #2 Yes, this is fine. #3 The second version you gave , "he might have never been a thief" seems more proper than the second.

  • #1 Yes, it is okay here.
  • #2 Yes, this is fine.
  • #3 The second version you gave , "he might have never been a thief" seems more proper than the second.
  • However, you could still say the first version and be understood.
  • " - doesn't sound as proper yet still acceptable enough
