Throat culture

Hi,

I know that a doctor takes a throat swab (culture), but what can I say if I go to the doctor's because I want them to do a swab culture?

"She is going for a throat culture tomorrow." (I'm not sure about this one.)

"She is going to the doctor's to get tested for strep."

Thank you.
