Hello everybody,
pardon me for posting such an ordinary word here, I have a dillema about the pronounciation and I cannot use any audio speaking software as I have a terribly slow connection.
Anyway, I'm wondering if you pronunce this word THRESHOLD, as TRASH plus OLD, or TRASH plus HOLD.
is it only SH or it's SH + H

Well I'd pronounce it thresh-hold; the h being not completely gone, it's still there but sort of merged with sh, especially in faster speech.
